Left and Rightซ้ายกับขวา

I would not draw a line down the middle of this facade and ask how closely the two halves match. The carport and the tall window are already telling us why they should not.

At NONG CHOM, the left side needs a broad opening. The right side gives a taller room its face. Pale frames and horizontal bands make them neighbours within one composition. The differences remain visible, which is more interesting than disguising them behind a repeated pattern.

Front elevation with a wide carport to the left and tall framed glazing to the right.

Symmetry is not the problem. It can give a building great clarity. The trouble begins when a convenient way of drawing the front becomes an obligation for the rooms behind it. Here, I prefer to ask what each side needs, and how much common ground is enough to hold the whole together.

The useful detail is the one that connects the two without making either side pretend to be the other.
